Ever wanted to go glamping in a teepee? Well Cherry Wood Bed, Breakfast, and Barn is perfect for you. Guests can stay in 20 foot teepees. Beds feature down comforters and guest can use the barbeque grills, compact refrigerators, separate private water closets, along with an open-air shower.

Teepees can be rented for $225/night and include daily breakfast.

Unfortunately, because of the farming nature of the property, children can not be accommodated.

If you are looking for a wonderful opportunity to glamp in Washington, Doe Bay Resort and Retreats is perfect for you. The resort is nestled in the San Juan Islands along the shore of Doe Bay.

Doe Bay Yurt

In addition to cabins, a hostel, and camping, Doe Bay offers guest the opportunity to stay in raised platform yurts. Select from eight (8) different yurts across the property to enjoy your stay. Bedding is only available select months of the year (they remove them during the off-season). Yurts have no heat, air conditioning, power, or water. You will enjoy your stay completely off the grid. Guests share a communal bathroom, shower, and kitchen facilities.

Yurt rentals run from $85-120/night based on double occupancy. Additional guests are $20 each.

Every kid envisions sleeping in a treehouse someday, and the Cedar Creek Treehouse Home can make it a reality. Located in Mount Rainier National Park, Cedar Creek provides a unique experiences for guests to connect with nature.

They have constructed a cabin 50 feet up in the air constructed on a Cedar tree overlooking the forest.

Amenities included in the rate ($300 per night based on double occupancy) are:

  • Kitchen nook with gas stove, water, sink, icebox, cooking utensils, dishes
  • Complimentary tea, coffee, herbs & spices
  • Cozy sleeping loft with futons & skylights
  • Beds made & towels provided
  • Toilet in the bathroom (No shower, but water can be heated)

Things do not get more beautiful in their natural setting than at the Lakedale Resort located in Friday Harbor, Washington. Situated on 82-acres, with three spring water lakes, Lakedale Resort is an ideal San Juan Islands getaway.

Lakedale Resort Canvas Cabins

Anyone can stay in the lodge, but for a real glamping experience, guest need to look into reserving either the canvas cabins or vintage Airsteam trailer.

Canvas Cabins

Each 225 sq. ft. standard canvas cabin features one queen bed with pillow-top bedding, cotton sheets, pillows and a flannel duvet, a table and four chairs, a cordless lantern, storage, and bath linens, as well as a full-size futon that sleeps two. Every night they deliver a fleece-covered hot water bottle to toast your toes.

There is no electricity, internet service, or running water. However, it’s just a short walk to the shower facilities*, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available at the General Store.

Need more space? Their canvas bunkhouse is a 450-square-foot canvas cabin with two queen beds and a full-size futon that sleeps two – accommodating groups up to six. The Bunkhouse also features electricity.

Ready for an over-the-top experience? Then try their canvas cottage – featuring a king bed, your own full bathroom, gorgeous chandelier, electricity and a lakeside setting.

Cabins include cotton sheets, pillows, flannel duvet; bath linens; table and four chairs; sleeper sofa or two lounge chairs; and an outside picnic table, four chairs, umbrella and a fire ring.

Airstream

Lakedale Resort Airstream

Guests can stay in a renovated 1978 Airstream Excella located on a lakefront campsite. Featuring a double bed with bed and bath linens, bath products and a kitchenette with a cooktop, refrigerator and microwave, dinette table with extended sofa that converts into a full-size bed, TV/DVD player (no satellite), ample closets, bath facilities including a shower, toilet, vanity and sink, as well as heat and air. Also enjoy luggage storage and LED lighting throughout.

Upon arrival you will find your Airstream stocked for breakfast including Lakedale signature granola and hearty oatmeal, as well as milk, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, teas, Greek yogurt, and seasonal fresh fruit.

TreeHouse Point

Have you ever stayed in a treehouse? Opened in 2005, TreeHouse Point is located near the gorgeous Snoqualamie Falls, and offers guest the choice among six tremendous treehouses. Units sleep two-four people each, and are typically appointed with Queen beds, and other glamping amenities.

All treehouses have electricity, heat, and come furnished with bed and bath linens. Each bathroom comes equipped with hand soap, shampoo, body Wash and hair dryers. All rooms are equipped with an iPod docking station and earplugs for light-sleepers. Complimentary WiFi is available in the Main Lodge.

Included in your nightly rate is a daily continental breakfast.

Rates are $255-355 per night.

Also included are wine glasses, wine key, mini fridge, propane BBQ on your deck, propane fire pit right out in front of your tent, 4 chairs + 1 table, air-conditioning unit, space heater, oscillating fan, clock radio, hot pot (for warming water), French Press coffee pot, 2 coffee mugs, 2 plates, and 2 glasses.

Nightly rates are $150 and includes wine tasting.
