Every kid dreams of having an elaborate treehouse and getting the chance to have an exclusive hideaway from their parents and friends. Now, as adults, we can realize that dream by staying at the Out’n’About Treehouse Treesort located in Cave Junction, Oregon.

Out’n’About offers a total of 18 different treehouse structures on their expansive 36 acres of property. Accommodations range from The Suite (4 person) to the Swiss Family (4 person) to a Peacock Perch (2 person) treehouse. Included on the property are zip lines, rope swings and rope bridges for guests to enjoy.

Rates are typically for a two-night minimum stay and vary from $120-280/night.

Loon Lake Lodge

Loon Lake Yurts

Loon Lake Lodge and RV is located in Reedsport, Oregon, and offers quite an extensive collection of cottages, cabins and yurts available for every level of glamper.

There are three levels of cottages, sleeping 2-8 people each. The basic cottage (sleeps 2) starts out with a full size futon bed. The deluxe cottage (sleeps 4) upgrades you to a full size sofa bed in the living room and a separate bedroom with a king size bed. Lastly, the premium cottages (sleep 6-8 people) include a trundle bed which turns into 2 twins. There are separate bedrooms with a king size bed and 1 bedroom with 2 full size beds. All units feature a fully furnished kitchen, and linens are included in your rate.

Cabins can accommodate 2-5 people with cozy cabins featuring a king size bed and the deluxe cabins having a trundle bed (2 twins) and a bunk bed with a full lower and an upper twin. Both cabin styles have fully equipped kitchens and include linens.

Yurts, or canvas tent like structures, can sleep 2-4 guests and get you close to nature. The four person yurt features a trundle bed (2 twins) while the two person yurt has a queen size bed. All yurts include a counter top refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, bed linens and satellite television.

Rim Rock Inn can provide a variety of accommodations from premium tipis to lavish suites, all amid the gorgeous Wallowa National Forest as a backdrop. Tipi amenities include shared bathrooms, shower stalls, and futon beds with extra blankets. Daily breakfast is also included.

Oregon State Parks

Oregon State Park Yurt

The Oregon State Park system offers guests the chance to reserve a limited supply of cabins, yurts, and tepees.

Rustic cabins feature one or two rooms that sleep 4-5 people. The cabins offer locking door, a combination of bunk beds, futon couch or double beds, table and chairs, electricity, heat, lights, a covered porch and bench, and an outdoor fire pit and picnic table.

Deluxe cabins feature everything that is in the rustic cabins, but also offer a kitchen, bathroom, showers.

Rustic yurts measure 16 feet in diameter and can sleep 5 people. Yurts feature a skylight that opens, electricity, heat, lights, and an outdoor fire pit and picnic table.

The deluxe yurt at Umpqua Lighthouse includes the amenities of the rustic yurt, but also includes TV, sink, refrigerator, microwave and table set including a kitchen, bathroom, showers.

The tepees can accommodate 4-5 people and include electricity, foam mattresses, and an outdoor fire pit and picnic table.

Units are available October 1 to April 30 of each year. Rates vary from $36-60 per night depending on location and accommodations.
