El Capitan Canyon is located in the beautiful Santa Barbara area of California. Rent one of 108 luxuriously appointed Canyon Cedar Cabins, each featuring front porches, peak ceilings, fully equipped standard bathroom facilities, king, queen or double beds, individual heating controls, fine linens and towels, kitchenettes with microwave, mini-fridge, wet bar sink and coffeemaker. In addition, wireless access is standard, as well as direct dial telephones. Many cabins offer upgraded amenities such as fireplaces, soaking bathtubs, sleeping lofts, etc. California glamping would not be complete without outdoor amenities, so each cabin is also equipped with their own outdoor picnic table, benches, grill and fire pit.

For a more traditional California glamping experience, 26 Safari tents are available, each measuring 12′ x 14′. Safari tents come with either a queen bed or two double beds, as well as tables, chairs, a desk, and storage trunk. Linens and towels are provided and there is no need to worry about cold nights with the heater. Safari tents are also outfitted with electricity. Outside, each safari tent features an outdoor picnic table and benches, grill and fire pit. Cooking supplies are not provided and are the responsibility of the guests.

Safari tents have their own bathroom and shower house that is communal between other Safari tent patrons.

Finally, there are circular Canyon Yurts (for Meetings) and Adventure Yurts (for sleeping) that are available. Adventure yurts sleep up to 4 people with one queen bed and one twin day bed with twin trundle. Of course it would not be California glamping if each yurt did not include electricity and bathhouse amenities (adjacent). The Adventure Yurt each include a private picnic table and fire pit with removable grill for both grill dining and a campfire.

Rates vary by season and the type of accommodation, but range from $135-695 December thru March, and $155-795 April thru November.
