Long before Columbus discovered America, Native Americans glamped every night in teepees. Now, guests looking for Arkansas glamping can stay in teepees or cabins at Diamond John’s Riverside Retreat.
Guests can rent three regular size teepees that will accommodate up to four (4) adults. Each teepee offers a queen size bed and either a full size bed, twin size bed, or a futon. There is also a very large teepee that can accommodate up to eight (8) adults with four (4) queen size beds.
There are also four (4) cabins available for rent depending on your desires sleeping arrangements.

Hunters Cabin – One Queen size bed and full size Futon
Tree House Cabin – One Queen size, twin size, and a trundle

Located in Chester, Arkansas, Stone Wind Retreats offers a variety of Arkansas glamping accommodations for their guests. There are seven (7) deluxe yurts that can sleep up to 3 people each. There is also a separate sanctuary suite on the other side of the mountain.
Yurts are 709 square feet and include an outdoor deck with hot tub. Inside each yurt are appointed with a full kitchen, air conditioning and heat, washer and dryer, and TV with internet.
Stone Wind Retreat is neither kid friendly or pet friendly.
Rates are $145-195 depending on day of week and time of year.

DeGray Lake Resort offers guests the chance to reserve 3 yurts, located on the water of the Arkansas State Parks. Each yurt can sleep up to six people and features electricity, wood floors, screened windows and a door that can be locked. Your yurt rental will come equipped with an ice chest, double burner stove with fuel, folding table with chairs, broom, mop, dust pan, and bunk beds. Other amenities include a fire pit, pedestal grill, picnic table, and water faucet. Yurts do not have heat or air-conditioning and linens are not provided. Guests should bring cooking and eating utensils, matches, and bed linens as needed to accommodate their party.
